I have been wanting a pet for a WHILE but we could not get one because we lived in apartments. In case you have not checked in a while ~ having a pet in an apartment is EXPENSIVE. Our last place was going to charge us $500 for the pet deposit. So that was WAY outta the budget. But now we live in a house!! So meet our new addition ~ Lady!!!!! We got her last night from an ad on freecycle. Lady is a mutt that is part collie. She is about 1 or 2 years old and was a stray that wondered into the lady's yard and stayed. She seems to have been abused because she is nervous around
new folks. But she is VERY
sweet!!! She has not pottied in the house and hasn't barked!!! This is great ~ just the kind of dog we wanted!!! Rachie isn't afraid of her but she is a bit nervous around Rachie. That's fine with me. We are all getting used to eachother!!! I'm so excited!!! She is such a good girl!!!!FYI ~ Since I decided to name her Lady, I keep having parts of the movie Lady and the Tramp in my head!!! Wonder how long that will last!!!

that second picture looks really good. if that freecycler had used your picture, she would've had an easier time finding Lady a home. =)
but then we might not have gotten her :-(
Now Jeremy has a lady that he can tell what to do. Where can I get one of those?

Glad you like the dog and that she is good with Rachel. We'll probably consider getting a dog in a couple years.
